ENT :
This department treats diseases of Ear, Nose and Throat. It has 3 units and 60 beds for patients. Surgeries like Tympanoplasty , Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery , Microscopic Laryngeal surgery, Thyroid surgery, Cosmetic surgery like Rhinoplasty are performed here .It also offers Audiometry and Speech Therapy treatment. Deafness Diagnostic Camps for the free distribution of Hearing Aids are organized by this department.
Demonstration of live surgery on Endoscopic DCR (Dacryo Cysto Rhinostomy) are performed. Cochlear Implant and other Implantable Hearing Aids are regularly done here ,Award winning papers also have been presented at State and National level conferences.Scientific Publications are being done in journals regularly. Some them are Congenital Hearing Impairment (Hearing Aid Journal), The Relative Sensitivity of Barium Swallow Examination (Indian Journal of Otolaryngology & Head and Neck Surgery) etc.
It is a matter of pride for this department that the name of present HOD Dr Vikas Sinha's name was included in Marquis Who's Who, 21st Century Edition published from USA.
