This department is equipped with Fiber Optic Bronchoscope which helps to diagnose & to treat respiratory diseases.  Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) is done by Spirometer which helps to know status of respiratory system. Nebulizer, Non-invasive Ventilator, Cardiac Monitor and Pulse Oxymeter caters to critically ill patients.  

It runs T.B. OPD 4 days a week and twice a week for Non-Tuberculous Chest disease (Respiratory Clinic) patients at Civil Hospital. T B Hospital is located near STDC and it has five wards in the new building. Two of them are Male TB Ward and Female Ward other two are Non-TB Ward and one Emergency Ward.OPD attendance is 70 for TB patients and for non - TB patients of chest disease patients are 30. Shortly it is going to start allergy testing .Total no. of beds are 60 and two units to treat the patients.

This department runs RNTCP (Revised National TB Control Programme).
